  • Whether you're looking for a relaxed day out or focused coaching toward a goal, Moxie’s got you covered. Ouray offers a wide range of rock types and climbing styles—ideal for climbers of all levels. Depending on your experience and interests, we can focus on such things as movement skills, lead climbing, gear placement, anchor building, multi-pitch systems, or risk management.

    Whether you’re new to climbing or refining advanced techniques, an IFMGA Mountain Guide will tailor the day to suit you or your group.

    All abilities, ages, body sizes, and fitness levels are welcome.

  • Included:

    • Guided rock climbing by IFMGA Mountain Guides

    • Customizable guest to guide ratio 

    • Climbing harness and helmet

    • Group climbing equipment (ropes, anchor material, rock protection)

    • Land use fees

    • $10/pp of rent paid to the Boys and Girls Club of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe

    Not Included:

    • Personal snacks/food

    • Personal climbing clothing and equipment per the equipment list

    • Rock climbing shoes (if you don’t own them let us know- we might be able to round some up!)

    • Travel and rescue insurance (highly recommended!)

    • Lodging in Colorado

    • Transportation to/from/in Colorado

    • Guide gratuity

    • Incurred costs by leaving a trip early
